Police have snared speeding drivers on the A419 and the M4 with one motorist clocked at 102mph.
A biker from the Roads Policing Unit has been conducting speed checks on the A419 in Swindon, on Saturday, October 5, and has caught a BMW travelling at 102mph.
Police say the driver failed to see the marked bike that was waiting on the major route for offenders.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Another one from the A419.
“The owner of this M240i out stretching its legs, failing to notice our RPU Biker.
“At that speed he’s not even looking 5 seconds into the future to see the marked bike.”

Meanwhile, another Roads Policing Unit has been stationed on the M4 motorway perch and has also caught a driver moving at more than 100mph.
The third car monitored during these speed checks was clocked at 101mph.
The driver has now been reported to court.
A spokesperson added: “The third car we pinged wasn’t looking far enough ahead to notice us on the motorway perch at 339m.
“Covering 50m/second, you need to be looking much further than 7.5 seconds into the future.”
