A large knife has been seized after police stopped a man in Swindon town centre.
PC Moffat and PC Bezzant, from Wiltshire Police’s Swindon Neighbourhood Teams, were on foot patrol in the town centre on Saturday, October 5, when they stopped a 21-year-old man.
Officers say the man was allegedly found to be in possession of a knife and Class B drugs.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of a bladed article and Class B drugs.
He is due to appear in court later this month.

A spokesperson for the force added: “Wiltshire Police's Community Commitment has a priority of safer public spaces and is committed to robustly dealing with knife crime.
“We would like to remind the public that the following locations have amnesty bins in Central South Swindon.”
These amnesty bins are located at the Broadgreen Community Centre and the Buckhurst Community Centre.
