Two people have been taken to hospital after a man jumped from a window in Swindon.
Emergency services responded to the incident at a property in Parkstone Walk following reports a person had jumped out of an upstairs bedroom window.
The property was cordoned off with police tape and an officer guarded the front door, while crime scene investigators collected evidence for several hours.
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment, but their injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
Residents described seeing blood at the scene in the front garden and on the window frame and ledge.
Police have confirmed that the incident on Thursday, October 3 was mental health-related and have not given any further details about the two people who were taken to hospital or their injuries.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We responded to reports from our colleagues in the ambulance service that a man had jumped from a window in Parkstone Walk, Swindon around 8.20am on October 3.
“Two people were taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“This relates to a mental health incident and would be inappropriate to comment further.”
