A museum in Somerset is gearing up for a spooky half-term with its new 'Track or Treat' trail.
From October 26 to November 3, The Haynes Motor Museum, near Yeovil, will take children and families on a Halloween-themed adventure filled with clues, riddles, and challenges.
As visitors make their way through the museum, they will be met with cryptic rhymes and riddles linked to each featured vehicle.
Every stop on the trail will offer up a different activity, a "devilish detail" about the vehicle, and a question.
The museum said "these elements combine to create an immersive experience that educates as much as it entertains".
The museum's oldest registered car, 'Fiery Liz', along with other classic automobiles, will also feature, with "no shortage of spooky surprises in store".
Adults can also test their film trivia knowledge with the new automotive trail, 'History, Hollywood and Horsepower', offering a deep dive into the world of motoring and cinema.
Jon Ducker, visitor experience manager, said: "We're thrilled to offer these exciting new trails for October half term.
"It's a perfect way for families to enjoy the Halloween season while exploring our world class collection of historic vehicles.
"The 'Track or Treat' trail adds an extra layer of excitement to the museum experience, encouraging children to engage with automotive history in a fun and memorable way."
At the end of the trail, young participants can claim their 'Track or Treat' prize at the museum's reception.
The museum also offers the interactive DriveTribe Exhibition, showcasing TV-famous cars such as The Grand Tour's Aston Martin and Richard Hammond's beloved Oliver from Top Gear.
After all the fun, families can refuel at Café 750 while children explore the motoring-themed outdoor play area, while younger visitors can also enjoy driving around in the Little Tikes cars.
Located just off the A303 at Sparkford in Somerset, the museum offers a 10 per cent discount to those who book online, as well as the option to revisit throughout the year for free.
The museum's collection's international theme has expanded since opening in 1985 as vehicles from around the globe were acquired, increasing numbers from 29 to nearly 400 in 30 years.
Throughout the autumn and winter season, which runs from October 1 to March 31, the museum is open from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 4.30pm, with last entry at 3.30pm.
