A new electric vehicle (EV) charger has been installed at a site in Swindon and will serve two charging bays.
Osprey Charging, a rapid-charging network, has installed the high-powered charger at The Manor Farm.
The 150kW rapid charge point, with dual CCS charging, joins the existing 50kW charger.
The 150kW charger can add up to 100 miles of range in 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the vehicle model and battery, compared to the 35 minutes it typically takes for the 50kW charger to add the same distance.
The chargers accept various payment methods, including contactless bank cards, Apple/Google Pay, the Osprey App, and RFID card payments.
Ian Johnston, CEO of Osprey Charging, said: "The roll-out of EV charging facilities is quickly gathering pace, and we’re here to provide a reliable and rapid public charging service for all drivers, from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands.
"Osprey now has over 1,100 charge points available to use across the UK, each carefully designed to maximise space, accessibility, and made to the latest and highest standards.
"The new charging hub in Swindon will form a vital part of the re-charging network that will enable the decarbonisation of transport in the UK."
