Police are appealing for witnesses after a boy was knocked off his bike by a car and the driver fled the scene at speed.
The collision happened on October 4 at around 8:20am on Blackberry Lane in Potterne, near Devizes.
An eight-year-old boy was cycling along the lane when he was hit by a car and fell off his bike.
The car then drove off at speed, leaving the child with several injuries, including a head injury.
He was checked over by ambulance staff and his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “The car involved is believed to be navy or green in a VW Polo/Golf shape.
