Swindon twins Billy and Louie have progressed to the semi-finals of The Voice as part of a new team made up of people from Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.
Not only did singing legend Sir Tom Jones and guest judge Hannah Waddingham choose to take the Swindon singers through to the semi-finals, but they, assumedly by chance, created a team of entirely Wiltshire and Oxfordshire singers.
Billy and Louie Hughes, from Swindon, Ace from Oxford and Hollie Peabody from Bicester in Oxfordshire will now compete on behalf of Sir Tom Jones in the semi-finals of The Voice UK.
During the 'call-backs', each member of Sir Tom Jones' team was asked to perform the same song in their own style inside the iconic St George's Hall in Liverpool.
Hollie, a prison officer from Bicester competed in the second group and performed 'Every Time' by Britney Spears, while singers Billy and Louie from Swindon and Ace from Oxford all performed 'One Day I'll Fly Away' by Randy Crawford in the final group.
She joined Billy and Louie Hughes who first appeared on The Voice UK on Saturday, September 14, when they won over all four celebrity judges with their blind audition and joined Team Sir Tom Jones.
Commenting on their past performances, Sir Tom Jones said: "Billy and Louie sounded so good, the harmonies were great, and then of course, they're identical twins. I thought 'This is unique'.
"Ace didn't try to compete, she did her own thing and that is special.
"Hollie had an honesty that is rare so I had to go for her."
Taking to social media after the episode aired, Swindon's Billy and Louie said: "Well what just happened there?
"We are both absolutely buzzing to be one of Sir Tom Jones's semi-finalists.
"Thank you to both Sir Tom and Hannah Waddingham. We are so grateful for your support and so excited for what's to come."
Ace, from Oxford, added: "Massive love and support to everyone on Team Tom.
"We all got so close and shared so much love in just a day. I am truly blessed to have met each one of you."
In The Voice UK semi-final, which will air on Saturday, October 19, 12 acts will now sing for their place in the final.
One person from each team will be able to go through to the final, meaning Billy and Louie, Ace and Hollie will now continue to battle against one another.
