A week of road closures is expected to cause delays on a key route through Wiltshire during resurfacing works.
Wiltshire Council has given notice that the A4 through Box will shut for five nights between the hours of 7pm and midnight.
The closures are scheduled to start on Monday, October 21, and will take place each night until the end of Friday, October 26.
During this time, there will be no access for motorists between the A365 Devizes Road and the railway crossing bridge.
While the road is closed, “reactive carriageway repairs” will be taking place, including some resurfacing of the route and other associated works.

It is warned that delays are likely in the area during these roadworks.
While the project should be completed within five nights, the council warned that this will be dependent on weather conditions in its public notice.
It added: “It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
“Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
“The order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.”
