A teenager from Swindon who is quickly rising in the music industry has been praised by The Voice UK stars ahead of her new single release.
15-year-old Tildy has already garnered attention for her performances in professional theatre tours and TV commercials, and she now regularly appears on stages across the South-West sharing her own music.
Four months on from the release of her debut single, which has over 5,000 streams on Spotify, Tildy will now release a new single dedicated to a beloved Swindon woman and the town she grew up in - and she has the support of TV stars behind her.
Twins Billy and Louie, who are currently semi-finalists in The Voice UK 2024 and representing team Sir Tom Jones, have mentored Tildy throughout her career and been keen to share their admiration for her talent.

“It’s great to work with Tildy. She’s such a hard worker and so independent," said the singers-turned-TV stars.
"It’s been amazing to coach the next generation of Swindon singers. She’s got an incredible talent, and we are so excited to see her progress.
"We are keen to share the experience we’ve gained from The Voice and our time in the industry with artists like Tildy."
Tildy's new single 'Home', being released on October 22, 2024, is a heartfelt tribute to lost loved ones and to Swindon, created in collaboration with UK singer-songwriter and producer Darren Martyn.
“I wrote ‘Home’ in memory of my late, great Nan, Nanny Josie, back in January 2023, and it’s been a long process because I wanted it to be perfect," she told the Adver.
"The release date is very special to me and my family, as it’s the day she passed away two years ago.”
She continued, “My Nan lived in Swindon for many years, and it became a part of who she was.
"That’s why the lyrics reference Old Town and Wood Street. I have so many fond memories of walking down Wood Street with my family after dinner, and this song is my way of paying tribute to those moments and to her.”
The accompanying music video, filmed at St Augustine's Church in Swindon, features a special collaboration with select members of Billy & Louie’s choir to emphasise the close-knit community feel of the song.
The teen now hopes that the release of 'Home' will further cement her place in Swindon’s rich music scene, and fans can't wait to hear it.
‘Home’ will be available on all major streaming platforms from October 22, 2024.
