Amazon bags full of rubbish have been fly-tipped in a field in Swindon for the fifth time this year.
Locals heading into Wanborough spotted the rubbish on Pack Hill on Sunday afternoon, which included orange, black and blue Amazon-branded containers labelled ‘property of Amazon logistics. Not for resale/unauthorised use.’
There were also clear large plastic bags full of what appeared to be household waste, including fizzy drink cans and plastic bottles.

One person suggested: “It might pay to have CCTV put up there but not say where it has been installed.”
While another said: “Let’s hope that there is no paper trail back to the person that produced the rubbish in the first place or they will be fined.”
But by Tuesday afternoon, the rubbish had been cleared and it appeared the entrance of the field had been blocked by hay bales, leaving information about where the rubbish had come from and who had dumped it there a mystery.

When approached for comment in August, Amazon said it did not know why the fly-tipping was happening but had launched an investigation.
Mike Jackson, a spokesperson for the company, said: "We’re looking into this with our delivery service providers.”
