A Wroughton hospice is set to release a new calendar and range of cards featuring photos taken by one of its former patients.

Prospect Hospice's new range will feature images taken by Darren Bradley, who died in 2023 after receiving care from the hospice for three years.

Mr Bradley spent hours taking photos of the local landscape, capturing its flora, fauna, and insects, and allowed the hospice to use his photos as a thank you for the care he received.

His parents, Geraldine and Phillip, said: "Our dear son Darren, when talking about his photos, would always say 'Just stand still, look and listen to what Mother Nature has given us'.

"If we all managed, just once a day to do this and feel the peace we could all feel so much better.

"It’s really important that Prospect gets as much publicity as possible, everyone who is so ill needs the comfort and assurance that Prospect is there for them when needed."

Jeremy Lune, CEO of Prospect Hospice, added: "We hope that this collection of Darren's photographs will serve as a lasting tribute to his memory and a reminder of the importance of supporting local artists and the community."
