The Wiltshire-based owner of Cotswold Outdoor faces a loss of £110 million over the last decade, following its latest accounts.
Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd is based in Malmesbury and owns high-street names like Cotswold Outdoor, Runners Need and Snow and Rock.
There are 79 Cotswold Outdoor shops in the UK, with the only Wiltshire store in Salisbury following the closure of the Swindon branch in 2022. One of 65 Runners Need shops is located in South Cerney.
The company says “the store portfolio continues to be reviewed” in its latest October 14 accounts.

The company made a £7.3 million pre-tax loss in the year 2023, following on from a £4 million loss in the year 2022.
Business news site, Financial News, calculates that since their last profit of £14.8m in 2015, the company’s pre-tax losses have totalled over £110m.
The board of directors explained: “The retail landscape in the UK throughout 2023 has continued to be impacted by the wider macro-economic and geopolitical environments which have continued to evolve and have been significantly impacted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
“This has continued to cause significant uncertainty in the global economy.”
It was warned: “The store portfolio continues to be reviewed as part of ongoing normal operations of the business, as a result of this one store was closed at the beginning of 2023 in Harrods”.
However, the directors remained optimistic, saying they were “satisfied that the business is well placed to navigate any forthcoming challenges which may lay ahead.”
