Nurseries and schools are being offered free Christmas trees by Dobbies Swindon.
The garden centre is encouraging teachers, parents, and guardians to make a request as part of the Dobbies Community Christmas Trees initiative, in collaboration with sustainable grower, Needlefresh.
Dobbies Swindon aims to provide nurseries and schools with real Christmas trees to decorate for the festive season.
The trees are sustainably grown in Scotland, and each has a unique code to trace its origin.
Needlefresh managing director, George Hood, said: "We hope that local schools and nurseries get in touch to apply for a real tree this Christmas, taking the opportunity to come together for decorating, making memories for pupils, teachers, and parents alike."
Dobbies’ plant buyer, Nigel Lawton, gave some advice for those who successfully apply for a tree.
He said: "Measure your space before you come to Dobbies’ Swindon store and take the tape measure with you to make sure you aren’t buying a tree that will be too big for the space in question."
Applications are now open, and close at 5pm on November 7.
Successful applicants will be contacted in mid-November and invited to collect their tree at Dobbies Swindon Christmas Shopping Night on November 21.
