An intoxicated man who punched and kicked a stranger while completely naked in an unprovoked attack is being sent to the Crown Court.
Jordan Rawlings, 27, of no fixed abode in Bath, pleaded guilty to assault and vehicle interference at Swindon Magistrates Court on October 18.
The court heard how the victim was driving down a road near his house in Penhill when he was stopped by Rawlings, who was stood in the road completely naked.
He asked for a lift to Bath twice, even offering £400, but the victim declined twice and Rawlings suddenly punched through the window of the car, before opening the door and dragging him from his seat, kicking and punching him around four or five times.

Leaving the victim on the floor, Rawlings got into the car as if to flee the scene, but fortunately another vehicle was approaching, which happened to be a police car.
While one officer checked on the victim, another officer tried to persuade Rawlings to exit the vehicle, but he got out and bolted and a dog unit was deployed.
Rawlings, who was on bail from Bristol Crown Court for a previous assault and has had 14 convictions since 2015, was found hiding in a garden and he was arrested.
The victim went to hospital with several injuries to the nose, lips and head and explained to officers that he has multiple health conditions and has previously had 12 surgeries on his brain, meaning that a blow to the head could easily have been fatal.
In mitigation, Mr Mott, defending, said it was a “very odd case” and suggested the attack was “extremely spontaneous” and Rawlings had been on a night out with his brother drinking and the last thing he remembers is going to bed.
Body worn footage showed Rawlings naked in the victim’s car and officers said he seemed “out of it” and was so drunk he could not operate the vehicle, which he was said to be “embarrassed” about and felt “very upset” when he found out about the victim’s medical history.
Mr Mott invited the Magistrates to send Rawlings to prison, saying: “If he’d have struck one of those blows in the wrong spot, it could have gone very wrong.”
The Magistrate told Rawlings: “You are posing a high risk to the general public.”
He will be remanded in custody until his sentencing at Bristol Crown Court on October 24.
