McDonald's has announced a spooky October half-term event for families.
From October 23 to November 5, Happy Meals will come with one of six plush Hallowe'en toys, a special Monster Ball book, and Ghoulish Goodies—apple and grape bags with a Hallowe'en twist.
Customers can also unlock discounts on attractions and activities by scanning a QR code on the Hallowe'en Happy Meal box.
These 'Spooky Savings' are in collaboration with Kids Pass.
Families dining in at more than 140 McDonald's locations until November 3 may also meet life-size Halloween Happy Meal characters such as Vin, Franklin, Cathy, Sergio, Wilbeth, or Bev.
This year, McDonald's UK introduced a 'Scare School' for crew members to improve customer experience during the October half-term.
Activities included character creation, spooky tactics, and face painting.
The training is available to all crew members via McDonald's internal platform, Workplace.
As an added attraction, families can play the Monster Dance Off game at their local McDonald's.
The digital game is projected onto the floor and tables, allowing families to unleash their inner monster.
This digital play game is available to all families visiting McDonald's during the Hallowe'en season.
