A new adult gaming centre is looking to move into a vacant betting shop in Swindon town centre.
Harries-Jones Gaming limited are applying for an adult gaming centre premises licence under section 159 of the Gambling Act 2005 to take over 56 Bridge Street – the former Betfred unit.
They have submitted an application to Swindon Borough Council and any representations must be made by Sunday, November 3.
The ground floor shop, listed for sale by Kilpatrick & Co, has been available since October 2023 and the 1,131 sq ft space includes an aluminium framed shop front, customer area, counter, customer toilet, storeroom, staff room and WC.
