The Prospect Hospice is opening a second charity shop in Swindon’s Old Town.
Kilpatrick & Co, commercial property specialists, have successfully secured a new letting on units 2, 3-4 in The Victoria Centre at 138-139 Victoria Road, which has been vacant since February 2024 after Swindon Tuition Centre decided to relocate.
The Prospect Hospice charity will take over the total 1,256 sq ft space for an asking price of £12,000 per annum.
Units 2-4 extends to 932 sq ft and features partitioned rooms previously used as tutoring rooms, a kitchenette, stores and WC.

Meanwhile, unit 3 comprises offices and stores, extending to 324 sq ft.
Alex Hill of Kilpatrick & Co said: “We are pleased to complete this letting and get another shop reoccupied in Swindon and wish the new tenant success with their business.”

Prospect Hospice already has a charity shop at 97-98 Victoria Road in Old Town as well as shops across Swindon, including Tadpole Garden Village, Regent Street, Penhill, Highworth and Wroughton, a furniture store in Stratton and a book and media store on Commercial Road.
Kilpatrick & Co have several other shops and offices available to let or buy in Swindon and the surrounding areas.
