A prolific shoplifter has been sent behind bars after his latest spree of thefts.
Mark Stiggers, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to 14 counts of theft and one count of assault that occurred from August to October.
Police issued an appeal to find the wanted man earlier this month and officers arrested him on Monday, October 21, before he was then charged and remanded in custody.
The 34-year-old appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court on Tuesday and received a 26-week custodial sentence, and must also pay £154 to fund victim services.
