A child rapist has been sentenced to 21 years in jail for multiple sex crimes.
Alexander Franczyk, 58, of Pritchard Close, Kingsdown in Swindon was found guilty by trial in August for multiple incidents of rape, one incident of attempted rape, multiple assaults by penetration and multiple sexual assaults.
The incidents all took place between July 2016 and May 2023 and involved two young victims aged 13 and under.

He had already pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children.
He was sentenced at the Old Bailey on October 22 to 21 years in prison.
He will also have an extended sentence of five years once released, be added to the sex offenders register indefinitely and be barred from ever working with children.
Detective Constable Sarah Pollock, from the Child Abuse Investigation Team, said: "I'd like to commend these two young girls who showed incredible bravery in coming forward to report these crimes after suffering several years of abuse.

“This has been a deeply upsetting case and I hope they can now start to rebuild their lives, safe in the knowledge that Franczyk will now face a significant custodial sentence.”
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “If you’ve been the victim, please report rape or sexual assault as soon as possible.
