Police have given an update after they responded to a crime scene with a wounded man on an otherwise quiet street.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that a man suffered a knife wound to his arm after locals described seeing a crime scene on Wigmore Avenue.

Residents called the police after seeing men acting suspiciously near Lawn Woods.

Officers responded at around 7.55pm on Monday, October 21.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Upon attending the scene, one of the three men stopped an officer to report injuries to his upper arm which are not thought to be serious.
“Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
The force has confirmed that the injury to his arm was inflicted by a bladed article.
