THERE was a supersonic buzz at one of the country's top rated motorway services when a Britpop icon swaggered through the doors and ordered a cappuccino.

Oasis legend Liam Gallagher stunned customers and staff at Gloucester Services when he popped in for a coffee break, yesterday, Thursday, October 24.

Dressed for the autumn weather in a black Berghaus waterproof jacket, he posed for a picture with delighted member of staff Harry Furniss.

Beaming Harry posted the image on X and joked: "Hope the cappuccinos were alright earlier, hard when your hands are shaking," tagging in Wonderwall star Liam.

It is understood Liam moved to Selsley near Stroud this summer from London with his fiancée and film producer Debbie Gwyther.

He has also been spotted on Selsley Common walking his dog Buttons - who he rescued from Thailand.

It comes as Liam and Noel Gallagher announced Oasis’s long-awaited reunion with a worldwide tour next year.

The Britpop band - who split nearly 15 years ago - released their chart-topping album Definitely Maybe around three decades ago.

Formed in Manchester in 1991, the rock band was led by lead guitarist Noel and his brother, lead vocalist Liam , during their 18 years together.

The popular services, which are located between junctions 11 (Hardwicke) and 12 (Brockworth), first opened their doors in 2014

The farm shop works with over 130 producers from the surrounding 30 miles, including lifestyle items, food, and drink.

The service station was created from a collaboration between family business Westmorland Family and development charity Gloucestershire Gateway Trust.

One commenter said: “When you order a cappuccino but end up getting a casual chat with a rock legend instead.”
