A man has been 'rescued from height' in Trowbridge.
The incident happened on Friday, October 25 on Roundstone Street.
He was brought down to safety by a Trowbridge fire crew before being handed over to paramedics for treatment and was taken by land ambulance to hospital.
On fire crew from Trowbridge Fire Station and two ambulances from the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust were involved in the rescue.
A critical care unit, tactical commander and an operations office were also called to the scene. Other emergency fire service crews en-route were stood down.
A spokesperson for SWAST said: “We were called at 10:11 hours on Friday, October 25 to an incident in Trowbridge.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, a tactical commander, an operations officer, and a critical care car to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Southmead Hospital.”
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “One casualty was rescued from height and left in the care of the ambulance service.”
The fire crews were called out by SWAST paramedics at 11.07 and arrived on the scene four minutes later.
The incident was dealt with very quickly and the stop was called at 11.34am.
