A Swindon town centre shop building has sold for nearly £400,000.
The Cash Converters unit on 34-35 Commercial Road was listed for sale by Strakers with a guide price of £275,000.
But the shop, which was listed as an investment with an income of £48,640 per annum, has sold for £387,000.
This includes the ground floor retail shop, the first floor which is made up of self-contained offices and the second floor consisting of a self-contained flat.
The listing reads: “Swindon is a large and expanding town with a wide range of shopping, entertainment and leisure facilities. There is a mainline railway station and access to the M4 motorway.
“The double-fronted ground floor retail shop has an internal floor area of about 165m² and is let until June 2027 at £24,000 per annum.
“The first floor comprises self-contained offices with an internal floor area of about 165m². It is let to solicitors who are holding over at £16,000 per annum.
“On the second floor is a self-contained flat comprising lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. Let on an assured shorthold tenancy (AST) at £720 per calendar month.”
