Police responding to a burglary report last weekend made an unexpected discovery of a big cannabis farm.
Wiltshire Police officers responded to the report of a property burglary on Cricklade Road in Swindon at around 5.30am on Saturday, October 26.
But when they arrived they found a “large” amount of cannabis growing inside. Pictures of the inside show plants in pots and hanging from the roof and reflective lamps.
A police cordon was put up, causing some concern among neighbours with one saying: “Police have been there for 24 hours.
“House has been sat for months in silence and darkness until now with a brick through the window on the early hours of Saturday morning.”
