A Swindon automotive firm has been honoured with the King’s Award for International Trade.
BG Automotive (BGA) celebrated the achievement at its UK headquarters, where the Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Troughton, presented the award and ceremonial scroll.
The Lord-Lieutenant and other guests were given a tour of BGA’s offices, warehouse, and research and development centre.
Live demonstrations showed how BGA’s products are rigorously tested against original equipment manufacturers standards.
Chris Cameron, BGA’s managing director, said: "This award means so much to us.
"It’s a tribute to the dedication of our team here in the UK and the trust of our export partners and customers across 75 plus countries.
"We couldn’t have reached this point without the hard work, commitment, and resilience shown by everyone involved."
The celebration included more than 150 BGA team members, who enjoyed food from local vendors serving wood-fired pizzas and smash patty burgers.
BGA is actively seeking skilled professionals from Swindon to join its team in a variety of office, technical, and warehouse roles.
It continues to grow at 20 to 30 per cent each year and has "ambitious" plans for 2025.
The company said it remains dedicated to advancing Swindon’s reputation as a hub of innovation and excellence in the automotive sector.
