A thief pushed a teen off his bike as he was locking it to a sign outside a corner shop.
The boy had his bike stolen at 8.20pm on September 26 outside the Premier on Cricklade Road, Swindon.
Wiltshire Police are now hunting the thief and appealing for witnesses. It says the sign may still be attached to the bike.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a bike on Cricklade Road, Swindon.

“A teenage boy was pushed off his bike as he was unlocking it and the bike was then taken.
“The incident happened at 8.20pm on September 26 outside Premier.
“The bike may have still been attacked to a sign which was outside the shop, and may have been memorable for a witness [sic].
“If you saw what happened, or have information that could help our enquiries please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54240113918.

A bike thief was recently charged by the police following three town centre thefts, with the force asking all owners to buy a D-lock and securely lock their bikes.
