Dozens of cannabis plants were discovered in a terraced house on a quiet Swindon street.
Police raided a property on Groves Street earlier this month and set up a crime scene so that a search could be carried out.
Officers and forensic teams arrived at the home on October 19 after obtaining a warrant allowing them to enter the address, and then spent three days investigating the house and ensuring that it was made safe.
There was a fairly sizeable police presence, with a crime scene investigation van parked nearby, a police car and van opposite the property, and another police car in an alley next to the terraced home.
No cordon was in place and the small amount of traffic on the residential street flowed without obstruction.
By Monday afternoon, police had left the area.
The county force has since confirmed that, as suspected, the house was being used to cultivate the illegal Class B drug.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "An established cannabis farm of around 100 plants was discovered. Our enquiries are ongoing.
