Police investigating a reported stabbing in Swindon's town centre arrested a suspect.
On Wednesday, October 23, officers responded to calls about the blade-related attack on Station Road at around 5.45pm.
Paramedics took a man in his 30s to hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
A police cordon temporarily covered the corner of Bridge Street and Station Road outside the Holbrook House offices throughout the evening.
At the time, no arrests were made, and police issued an appeal asking for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to call 101 quoting log number 266 of October 23.
The county force has since issued an update about their investigation into the incident.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “A woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has since been bailed while enquiries continue.”
