An arson probe has been launched after a blaze at a churchyard in Lechlade.
A shed at Lechlade Baptist Church was set on fire at around 10pm on Tuesday, October 22.
According to police, the blaze destroyed a Christmas display and caused damage to nearby benches and plants.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue service confirmed they sent one crew to the incident who used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police said: “We're appealing for information following a suspected arson in a church yard in Lechlade.
“Between 10pm and 10.30pm on October 22 a shed at Lechlade Baptist Church on Sherbourne Street was set on fire.
“The fire destroyed a Christmas display and caused damage to nearby benches and plants.
“Anyone with information can provide this to police online by completing the following form and quoting incident 514 of October 22.”
