A bus passenger has described a nighttime crash between a taxi and a bus as awful and distressing.
It happened at the junction of Farnsby Street and Faringdon Road around 9pm, October 30.
Police say there were no reported injuries but bus passenger Uri Nan said: “It was very distressing. I was looking ahead and the front went directly into the front of the taxi.

“It all felt so long because I was waiting for the taxi driver to come out, but when he finally did he looked upset.
“The bus driver was great, asking if people on board were okay, and asking for witnesses. I hope the drivers of both vehicles were okay.”
Uri said the bus was “quite busy”, but following the crash saw “people just walk off the bus without looking like they cared”.
The road was closed until 10.20pm while both vehicles were recovered. Pictures of the Swindon’s Bus Company number 5 bus show extensive damage to the windshield and bumper with part of it lying broken on the tarmac.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We responded to a two-vehicle road traffic collision at the junction connecting Farnsby Street to Faringdon Road at 9pm last night (30/10).
“There were no reported injuries. The road was closed until the vehicles were recovered at 10.20pm.”
