There are fears that a street used as a “free lorry park” is an “accident waiting to happen”.
Gerrard Way in Greenbridge Retail Park is popular with lorries parking as it has no parking restrictions.
However, a Swindon resident says they cause an obstruction and has witnessed multiple near misses as a result.
They said: “There are always lorries parking up along Gerrard Way. They are causing an obstruction & I have witnessed several near misses as cars cannot always see vehicles coming the other way.

“These lorries seem to be using it as a free lorry park. It is an accident waiting to happen."
The owners of Greenbridge Retail Park, M&G say that the road is the responsibility of the council.
Swindon Borough Council say that the concerned resident should submit a report online which will be considered by an officer who will decide what action to take.
The resident said that they tried to submit a report, but the road was not listed. The council advised that there is an option to submit a report if the road is not listed.
Wiltshire Police said that the resident can send an online report with photographs if they think the issue is causing danger.
