Police were spotted descending on a Swindon car garage following a 'serious incident'.

It happened in the early hours of the evening on Friday, November 1 at the Halfords Autocentre, on Paddington Drive, in West Swindon.

An eyewitness at the scene described seeing three police cars outside the garage, and approximately seven officers in attendance.

"I was dropping a friend off at the garage and when we turned up we were greeted with three police cars and something like seven officers," an anonymous eyewitness told the Swindon Advertiser.

"I was told it was pretty serious, hence them coming in numbers and coming to their premises."
