The highly-anticipated refurbishment of a play park near Swindon has been confirmed as early plans are revealed.
New Road Park in Royal Wootton Bassett currently consists of a large playing field and two play areas - one for under-five and one for older children.
But the toddler park, which consists of one swing set, slide and see-saw, has long needed a makeover.

With grant funding for the replacement of the toddler park confirmed in September, plans are now underway to finalise the design.
According to Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council, the new park will boast a slide, a four-way see-saw springer, noughts and crosses and musical panels.
The toddler park had previously closed to the public in Feburary for a new see-saw to be installed, and in August so that a new fence could be installed by the Grounds Team.
However, unforeseen circumstances delayed the reopening of the park both times.
The new equipment in the latest full refurbishment is expected to be installed by early 2025, although the exact dates are yet to be confirmed by contractors.
A spokesperson for the Town Council said: "The Amenities meeting on Thursday 12th September 2024 confirmed the replacement of the toddler play park.
"Updates will be provided once dates are confirmed by the contractors."
The plans to replace New Road Toddler Park are part of a series of works to upgrade children's play parks in Royal Wootton Bassett this year.
It comes after town mayor Eve Silvester joined families and dignitaries in February 2024 to open the newly refurbished Old Court Park in Royal Wootton Bassett.
The Old Court Park, located less than a mile from New Road Toddler Play Park, was given a shiny new slide with a mini tower, double swing, crazy hen rocker and spinner bowl.
Local children George and Shelby Scarrott were the first to try it out, and gave the park their seal of approval.
"It is important to regularly update and repair our equipment to ensure that we help to keep our children safe and happy and provide as much enjoyment as possible," said the mayor at the opening ceremony.
"Hopefully the new equipment will continue to bring pleasure to the children who visit and their parents and carers will also enjoy the play area."
