Bus drivers in Swindon are showing their support for the Royal British Legion by wearing poppies throughout the week.
Swindon's Bus Company is backing the RBL's annual Poppy Appeal and offering free travel to serving and veteran military personnel who display their medals or show their military ID card when boarding buses on Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
Managing director Andrew Wickham said: "“People across this region are rightly proud of our country’s military - as is the team here at Swindon’s Bus Company.
"As part of this community, we are keen to show our support for all those in the services.

“We are providing all our drivers and other team members with a poppy to wear, if they wish to do so.
"For each of these, we will be making a donation to the Royal British Legion.
“The work our troops do and have done, in often unimaginably hostile war zones, is incredibly humbling.
"And we hope, by proudly displaying our poppies and raising awareness for this worthwhile cause, we’re backing our words with actions.
“Our drivers will also be pulling over, if it is safe to do so, at 11am on Sunday, November 10, for Remembrance Sunday and at 11am on Monday, November 11, for Armistice Day, as a mark of respect to observe the two minutes’ silence."
