Donations of children's toys are wanted in Swindon to bring "hope and happiness" to children this Christmas.
The Swindon Christmas Toy Appeal, run by churches across the town, is looking to help struggling families for the eighth year running.
It supports families who would find it challenging to provide presents for their children without resorting to loans.
In 2023, 27.5 per cent of households with children under 18 in Swindon were living in poverty.

Last year, schools, churches, businesses, and organisations came together, enabling 322 families to choose from thousands of new toys, stocking fillers, books, and soft toys for more than 620 children.
This year, donations of brand-new toys for children aged up to 17 can be made at various points around the town from November 11 to December 1.
Toy Appeal co-ordinator, Dawn Prosser, said: "We are very grateful for all those behind the scenes who are ready and willing to give up the time and make it happen again.
"It takes a huge team, many toy donations, and finance to make the toy appeal happen.
"Hopefully, we can ease the stress for many families again this year."
Families in need will be nominated by agencies, churches, and schools across Swindon to receive presents.
