Police are searching for two men after Swindon supermarket staff were alleged threatened during a theft.

The incident took place at the Co-op store on Highdown Way shortly before 9pm on October 9 when unknown suspects entered the shop and allegedly started putting items in their pockets.

Police say the men then threatened staff who challenged them about their behaviour before reportedly leaving the store with the stolen goods.

Officers have launched an investigation and have now released CCTV images of two men they are looking for in connection to the incident.

Anyone who recognises them has been urged to contact police.
