A man who has been hunted by police for several months has failed to attend his latest court hearing.
Roger Moore, 54, of Ballance Street, Lansdown, Bath, formerly of Akers Way, was charged with two counts of theft from a shop and he was due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court for sentencing on November 4.
On September 25, Moore, who has not submitted a plea, allegedly stole £17 worth of alcohol from the Co-op store in Sussex Place and was said to return a day later to steal £55 worth of meat and alcohol.

The case was adjourned from October 9 after Moore failed to attend court and Wiltshire Police have confirmed there is a warrant out for his arrest.
The force released an image of Moore in August appealing for the public’s help to locate him in connection with a separate offence, later renewing the appeal in September.
He was charged with drink driving and driving while disqualified in May 2024, but in September police charged him with two more offences related to this incident - taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and using a mobile phone while driving.
However, the Crown Prosecution Service later decided to withdraw the charges as it was no longer in the public interest.
