A Swindon dentist is bringing his expertise to the community via a new private clinic that promises to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Swindon Dental & Implant Clinic is led by Dr Pratik Patel, and is opening its doors to the public from 2-6pm on Saturday November 16 as part of its grand opening.
Dr Patel is trained in providing sedation for patients who are anxious about the dentist experience, while also being an expert in providing dental implants to replace missing teeth, a procedure not available via the NHS.

Dr Patel, who has 15 years of experience in dentistry having been born and raised in Swindon, said: “Nobody loves coming to the dentist, but this clinic has been set up to provide the absolute best care, and provide a nice environment for patients to feel comfortable.”
Based in Edison Park, the clinic will be offering 10% off its 45-minute consultations for new patients that come with no hidden fees and include X-rays.
After studying in Bristol and Cardiff before working in paediatric dentistry in London, Dr Patel says it is important for him to be able to practice in his hometown.
“It has always been the end goal to get my training in sedation and implants and then bring the service back to the community for both patients and referring dentists in the area.
“Our remit is to help patients reconstruct their smiles, as well as offering routine family dentistry.”
