A Swindon-born martial arts multimillionaire and Michael Jackson’s former bodyguard plans to stand as a Reform party MP.
Matt Fiddes, now of Devon, has revealed he aims to stand as an MP for North Devon at the next election after reportedly being recruited by his “friend” Nigel Farage.
This would be a shock career change for Matt, who last year became embroiled in a row with Dick Lovett after wearing a tracksuit to the firm’s Ferrari showroom.
In an interview with Devon Live, he said: “Nigel has asked me three times to join his party because of the platform I have.
“Becoming an MP would be the perfect way to give back to the community after all the success I’ve been lucky to have.”

The 45-year-old entrepreneur made his name reportedly working as Michael Jackson’s bodyguard and now owns a chain of martial arts schools.
It is estimated that his net worth is around £120 million.
The father of six told Devon Live he planned to start speaking at Reform events immediately.
He added: "I know five years to the next election is a long time, but I intend to start helping Nigel and his party immediately with talks at Reform events across the country.
“As one of the South West's largest private landlords I'm invested in the community.”
