Stagecoach has issued a warning about anti-social behaviour on its services after police were called to an incident on a bus.
Police stopped a Stagecoach bus travelling on Corporation Street in Swindon on Wednesday, November 6, after being alerted to concerns over a woman’s safety.
When they arrived, officers found no offences had been committed and safeguarded the woman involved.
Despite police finding no wrongdoing, Stagecoach has taken the opportunity to issue a warning that it will not tolerate anti-social behaviour on its services.
The firm also thanked the driver involved for providing assistance and calling the police during the incident.
