A small lane in Swindon has been listed for £10,000.
The “parcel of land” in Old Town is around 137 metres long and around 0.50 acres between adjoining houses just off Mill Lane.
It has been listed by Strakers in their December auction catalogue with a guide price of £10,000 plus fees.
The lane, which is relatively overgrown, leads to Old Town railway path and there is a bridleway along one side.
The listing reads: “Parcel of land adjoining houses in sought-after Old Town location. The land is accessed from Mill Lane and slopes down towards the railway line.
“The extent of the land is shown edged red for identification purposes only on the aerial photograph and measures about 0.50 acres with a length of about 137m and a frontage to Mill Lane of about 12m.

“A bridleway runs along one edge and the remainder of the land is overgrown. A Community group maintain an area just off Mill Lane.”
The listing also states that the land is available for viewing at any time.

According to Rightmove, properties in the Mill Lane area have been listed for sale with an average price of £1,140,000 over the last year.
Additionally, the price of sold properties in Mill Lane has increased by 47 per cent over the last year compared to the 2020 peak of £777,500.
