An arsonist has caused thousands of pounds of damage to several vehicles in Swindon.
On Monday, Wiltshire Police released CCTV footage after an unknown suspect set fire to a car in Stockton Road, Penhill, at around 2:08am that morning.
Officers say the male was wearing a hooded jacket and he was captured on video setting the vehicle alight, causing £5,000 worth of damage, before running away.
The vehicle was parked next to several other vehicles outside a property and which was completely burnt out on the front bonnet and windscreen, while a grey Vauxhall Corsa and neighbouring car were also badly damaged.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “An unknown suspect, shown on video wearing a hooded jacket, has set fire to a car causing damage to the value of £5,000.

“If you have CCTV or doorbell footage which captured a male of this description in Stockton Road or the surrounding area during the early hours of this morning, please call 101 quoting crime reference 54240132901.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who thinks they can identify this man.
“Report crime anonymously to CrimeStoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
