A restaurant has reopened in Swindon after the owner completed a major rebrand of her previous business.

The Cricklade Road restaurant which once operated as a Mexican steakhouse relaunched earlier this month after a two-week closure while major renovations were carried out.

On October 8, the business owner announced that Casa De Carne had “come to an end” and would be revamped with a different identity and menu offering later in the year.

A spokesperson said at the time: “I want to take this moment to thank everyone who has been part of our story.

“Your support and engagement have meant the world to us.”

A Halloween-themed pumpkin painting event with Prosecco, gin and nibbles held on October 30 marked the last hurrah for the eatery under its old name.

Pat’s Smokehouse Bar and Bistro welcomed its first customers during the grand opening on Friday, November 15.

One satisfied visitor contacted the Adver to praise head chef Luann and her team.

The customer said: “A fabulous small business. Pop down – you won’t regret it!”

A ‘Christmas Bottomless’ offer with a main course accompanied by a selection of refillable drinks is available every Saturday in December from 1pm to 8pm for £25 per person.

A breakfast menu includes homemade pancakes, muffins, and other treats served from 8am.
