The latest weather forecast has predicted cold frosts for Swindon as temperatures are set to plummet below zero.
The Met Office has extended a severe weather warning for snow and ice in parts of the UK, with yellow weather warnings are in place.
Although no snow is expected for Swindon, the mornings are likely to get significantly chillier as temperatures will drop below zero degrees celsius from Tuesday, November 19.
Commuters are being warned to allow extra time in the mornings to defrost their cars and to stock up on de-icer, an ice scraper, and perhaps some warm gloves.
These colder temperatures will remain in place until the weekend when things will then warm up again slightly.
However, it is likely to be the first cold spell of many as winter approaches.
Here's how the weather is looking in Swindon for this week.
