A former bubble tea café in Swindon has been listed for sale.
Bebble Tea at 109-110 Commercial Road was the first drink bar in Swindon to sell the popular Taiwan drink when it opened in 2020 and shortly later Tealith Bubble Tea opened on Regent Street.
After four years in Swindon town centre, Bebble Tea closed on October 27 and customers suspected the store might be closing after seeing the owners listing items for sale in May, before holding a 50 per cent off sale ahead of the closure in October.
The vacant store has been listed by Kilpatrick & Co with an asking price of £17,000 per annum for the 1,052 sq ft space and it is available for a “variety of uses.”
The listing reads: “The property is part of the ground floor in a three-storey building of traditional brick construction with modern aluminium shop front and entrance door.
“The premises have been refurbished with the ground floor being open plan with a large display window overlooking Commercial Road, with a store, toilet and kitchenette at the rear.
“It may be used for continued café use or for any retail use or financial and professional services use or other use subject to any required planning permission.”
