Drone footage shows traffic trying to traverse a flooded road near Swindon.

Adver reader Will Thomas captured the moment a lorry and several cars carefully made their way through a section of the B4553 between Purton and Cricklade that is currently underwater.

The lorry manages to make a right turn and some of the other vehicles' wheels slowly wade through the water, though two of the cars appear to be stuck.

Nearby farmland and fields near the rood have also been flooded.

Other drone photography shows similar scenes around Hayes Knoll Road and widespread wetness in the countryside around the A417 near Castle Eaton and Cricklade. The A-road itself is dry and traffic is flowing as normal.

Storm Bert has caused chaos around Wiltshire, with hours of strong wind and heavy rain closing various routes across the county.
