Pictures show that a pub in Swindon is ever more waterside than usual after Storm Bert flooded a nearby park and road.
The Runner Pub on Wootton Bassett Road and the road itself are open as normal after a month's worth of water fell in 48 hours across the UK.
Diners and drinkers at the pub can usually enjoy a meal or refreshment beside the river which runs by its garden, but will now be able to enjoy 360 views of sodden Swindon.
Much worse flooding has been experienced in Chippenham which has been described as “underwater” by our reporter.
Meanwhile, schools reported by the BBC to be closed in Wiltshire do not include any in Swindon.
There are significant delays on the A419. Also closed are the A303 and A3102.
