Traffic across Wiltshire has eased in places after a day of major disruption due to Storm Bert, although several roads remain closed.
Extreme rainfall has seen A-roads closed, trains cancelled and town centres submerged throughout the day.
The A36 at Warminster and the A361 at Semington were both closed this morning due to damage caused by Storm Bert. However, both appear to have reopened.
There were delays of up to 30 minutes on the A419 north of Swindon this morning following an earlier crash. One lane was closed was for a period this evening with less severe delays, and the road is now open as normal.
The A350 around Melksham was gridlocked for much of the day after bearing the brunt of the diverted traffic, with Wiltshire Council issuing a further traffic warning at 3.45pm. There are still minor delays on the A-road.

High Street, Chippenham
