A teenager was hospitalised with facial injuries and “internal bleeding” after an alleged assault in a busy Swindon car park.

The 19-year-old woman reportedly suffered the injuries during an altercation in Shaw Ridge at around 3pm on November 10.

This incident took place in the car park between Pizza Hut and The Village Hotel.

Police say there was a “disagreement” between two women who were known to each other, which allegedly led to the pair assaulting each other.

A 19-year-old required hospital treatment for the injuries she sustained during the incident.
