A “laughable” thief caught on video stealing pot plants and then “waddling off”, remains at large.
The theft from a front garden on Cricklade Road, Swindon around 5.50am on November 14 was caught on a Ring doorbell camera.
The owner called the act “laughable”, wondering why someone would “steal three, extremely heavy plant pots from the front of your house”.
She added: “Watching him waddle off under the weight is even better.”
She reported it to the police but was “happy” for the police to close the case, as “nothing can be done as the face is covered… I knew nothing would come of it anyway”.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson confirmed that the case had been closed with no suspect identified due to a lack of evidence.
